Anthracite is available in large quantities across Africa, As not many other processes call for High Grade (HG) or Ultra High Grade (UHG) Anthracite it is not readily mined and therefore remains an untapped resource. Anthracite is not used at conventional Power Stations to make electricity as it burns between 1500 and 2000°C. Steel melts at 1500°C
As Anthracite is the most carbon rich fuel.

High temperature combustion at 1500 - 2000 degrees, the best of all carbon based coal fuels, untapped resource in Africa. Anthracite coal is a form of coal that is almost made entirely of carbon. Anthracite coal is much harder than other forms of coal such as bituminous, and is usually found in areas surrounding mountains or deep valleys. Anthracite burns much cleaner than other forms of coal due to its low pollutant content. In fact, anthracite may contain 91% to 98% pure carbon, leaving only 2% to 9% of other elements. Anthracite coal is difficult to ignite and burns with a blue, smokeless flame.
